Hosting and server logs

The website is operated on servers of Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany; the servers are located in Germany. Processing takes place on the basis of a data processing agreement. Only technically necessary server logs are created (for example IP address, time and requested page), which are needed for secure operation and are automatically deleted after 14 days. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Request form and email

The request form does not send any data itself. When you submit it, your email app opens with a prepared message that you send yourself. When you write to me, I process your details (name, email address, your message and optional details such as company, budget or timeline) to answer your request and, where applicable, prepare a proposal. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures).

The website itself stores nothing in the process. I delete your email once your request has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations prevent this.

Cookies, tracking and third-party services

This website sets no cookies and uses no tracking and no analytics tools. Fonts and scripts are hosted locally on the website’s own server; no data is transferred to third parties when you visit. External links (for example to GitHub or my product sites) only take you to the respective provider when you click them.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing of your data, to data portability and to object. You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. For any request, an email to austin@trendgegner.com is enough.
